Very lovely and antique Belgian cafè au lait bowl, ironstone bowl with red-pink transfer decoration featuring countryside scenes with cows and farm houses.
This antique cafè au lait bowl is signed Nimy, Manufacture Imperiale et Royal, made in Belgium, this manufacture was founded in Belgium in year 1789 by Joseph Antoine Dieuclone, Emperor Joseph II° granted the title of “Manufacture Imperiale et Royale” in 1789. This manufacture ceased in 1951. This mark has been used from 1844 to 1870.
