Amazing antique boudoir large hankycase or nightgown case, Edwardian era, late 1800’s or early 1900’s, French origin.
The antique hankycase is made from ivory padded silk, on front side a beautiful petit point embroidery with silk threads featuring a basket of flowers with a light blue ribbon bow. Colors are simply gorgeous and quality of embroidery is amazing. Interior is lined in pale blue quilted silk.
The outer edges are enriched with ivory color cordonette silk. As closure of the case two ivory silk ribbons. This antique hanky case or nightgown case is really delicious and amazing!

CONDITIONS:
This hanky case is in very good conditions, silk is not dry rot, there are no ruptures, no missing stitches. To signal one small stain to the back side, some small stains to final parts of ribbons and some small halos to interior.

19″ (48.3 cm) by 14 3/4″ (37.5 cm) when folded.
