DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French box made from cardboard, oval base, dating to the early 1900’s. The box has been covered with a very lovely antique wallpaper, with beige background and a design of thin stripes and diamond medallions with roses, in tons of pale mauve, purple, chalk white and sage green.
Interior of the box is in natural color paper; the lid interior has the advertising of a shop in Paris: A. Franc, Posticheur – Spécialiste 59 Avenue Victor Hugo, Paris.
CONDITION:
The box structure is sturdy, there wear to the wallpaper around the edges, the interior shows spots due to aging.
MEASURE:
8 1/2″ by 6 7/8″ (21.6 cm by 17.5 cm), 3 5/8″ (9.2 cm) tall.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
