Here is a very pretty French ceramic match box, allumettes box, container dating to years 1930’s, airbrushed and stenciled decoration with a rose in the centre over the written “Allumettes”, body of the box milk white, decoration is in shades of red dark green, red lettering of the word “Allumettes” (matches), wooden lid. The allumettes box has the mark of the famous French manufacture Badonviller.
