Antique enamel Coffee pot, BW Austria, pale pink stripes & roses decor, Enameled coffee biggin, Antique enameled coffee pot with tall filter.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely French antique enameled coffee pot or coffee biggin with tall filter, dating to early 1900’s, white body, large pale pink bands and transfer decoration featuring roses and flowers in tones of blue, purple, pink, green and pale grey.
The decoration is repeated identical on the back side of the coffee pot and on filter. Partially faded gilded details.
This coffee pot is signed BW, the antique signature of Austria manufacture, this signature (Bartelmus & Witte) has been used since 1894, the denomination “Austria” has been used since 1899, year in which the company Austria was born (Societé anonyme des Emailleurs Autrichiens, comprising the old companies Bartelmus Frères, Haardt et C.ie and Bartelmus et Witte).
Signature is no more readable but I can still see traces of it on the bottom.

HOW TO USE IT:
A very nice antique French coffee pot to add to your collection of antique enamelware or to display in your French style kitchen to give the perfect touch to your home decor!

CONDITIONS:
Conditions for its age are very good, decoration is intact and colors are wonderful, the only issues to signal are a few small dings to edges and to filter edges, there are light some restored areaa on spout tip, handles and lid knob, the retouches have been expertly made and are visible only to close inspection. Interior is enough clean with light traces of use and rust.

MEASURES:
This coffee pot is tall 11 1/4″ (31 cm) and has a base diameter 5″ (12.7 cm) wide.
