DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely Dutch or French antique enameled coffee pot or coffee biggin, with no filter, dating to early 900’s, body is shaded in light green, hand painted decoration with a framed scene featuring a snowy landscape with a farmhouse, in tones of white, beige, brown, dark green, light blue and grey, gilded volutes frame the landscape scene. Decoration is not raised, it has been executed using light touch technique and it really shows all the beauty of a watercolor! Riveted handle and gilded fillets.
The decoration is repeated identical on the other side of the coffee pot.
The coffee pot is signed with hand written number F25 in gold lettering.

CONDITION:
Condition for its age are enough good, decoration is intact and colors are very delicate and refined, there are rusty dings around the lid and to lid’s interior rim, the lid’s knob is rusty and has a hole, other rusty dings are located to the handle an near the base. Interior has is very dark and rusty, the bottom has no holes.

This coffee pot is 7″ (17.8 cm) tall.
