DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely Dutch or French antique enameled coffee pot or coffee biggin, dating to early 900’s, pink body and hand painted decoration with raised details featuring a winter landscape with snow, farm houses, trees, wind mill and a peasant with a baket, in tones of beige, brown, white, grey, sage green and light blue. Partially faded gilded details and fillets. This antique coffee pot has a very interesting shape in Japanese style, with “faux bamboo” style handle and lid handle, vary fashionable in that era.
The decoration is repeated in a simpler version on the other side of the coffee pot.
The coffee pot is signed with hand written number 139 in gold lettering.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions for its age are good, decoration is intact and colors are very delicate and refined, there are some restaurations professionally done, to lid, handle and spout, visible only to close inspection. Interior has light traces of use.
