Antique enamel Salt box with raised red stripes & garland of roses, signed BB Austria, antique kitchenalia, vintage enamelware salt box.

MEASURES:
Base of this salt box measures 5 1/2″ by 3 1/2″ (14 cm by 8.8 cm), maximum height is 8 1/2″ (21.6 cm).

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and rare antique enamel Salt (Sel) box, this a very famous model produced in the 1920’s by manufactury B.B. Austria, model n. 17655, with raising red stripes and garland of pink roses.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique salt box is really a lovely piece, and would be a gorgeous addition to your collection of antique French enamelware and kitchenalia. It’s ready to hang in your kitchen and will immediately bring the special atmosphere of an antique kitchen in the countryside…..

CONDITION:
The salt box has rust around the base, mainly to the sides, in interior and exterior of the box, the bottom has a few very small holes, due to the rust. The lettering “Sel” and the label frame are a bit faded.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
