Description

Antique enameled kitchen canisters set of 4 pots, red & white gingham checks, antique french enamel spice pots DUCO, vintage kitchenalia.

DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful set of four antique French enameled kitchen canisters, or spice pots, gingham checks in red and white, raised lettering in cobalt blue color, the pots are for: Sucre (Sugar), Café (Coffee), Farine (Flour), Pates (Pasta).
These enameled kitchen canisters are signed BGB Duco, Importé de Tchécoslovaquie, this mark has been in use after 1919, year of the dismantling of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

HOW TO USE THEM:
These kitchen canisters would be a wonderful addition to your collection of antique French enamelware, they would display beautifully in your retrò French inspired kitchen, on a mantelpiece, an old shelf or a cupboard…. you could of course use them as they are clean and in good conditions, in this case my advice is to put a glass vase hidden inside the antique pots.

CONDITIONS:
Very good antique condition, as you can see from photos these 4 enameled spice pots have lovely and bright colors, decoration is intact, there are just some small chips to the lids’ knobs and borders.
Interior is clean with no rust, there are no holes. Wonderful antique kitchen canisters ready to use in your kitchen!
