DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely late 1800’s or early 1900’s French box for boudoir, made from heavy cardboard and covered wonderful flowered velvet in typical Art Noueau style. Colors are really beautiful, there are tones of beige, powder pink, red, yellow, and green.
Interior of the box is covered in green damask cotton with a design of oak leaves.

A very nice French antique textile box to add to your collection, this antique box will bring to your home decor a special touch of French boudoir atmopshere!
CONDITIONS:
Conditions of the antique box are good, to signal small spt stains on the lid due to aging, the fabric still shows lovely colors with charming antique patina. Structure of the box is sturdy with no breaks. Interior is clean, there is a small tear located to one side on the connection beteween lid and box body, visible in my photos.
MEASURES:
7 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ (19 cm by 16.5 cm), 3″ (7.6 cm) tall.
