A charming antique French box adorned with floral fabric, the vintage gloves box from Grands Magasins du Louvre, featuring an Art Nouveau-style fabric adorned with pink roses. 🌹

📏 MEASUREMENTS: 13 3/4″ by 3″ (35 cm by 7.6 cm), 1 3/8″ (3.5 cm) tall.

This delightful antique French gloves box is crafted from cardboard and wrapped in an Art Nouveau-style floral fabric. The fabric boasts a light beige base with a design of roses and small flowers in shades of pink, raspberry, milky white, almond green, and moss green. The box’s interior is lined with plain beige paper. The original label from the prestigious Parisian department store, Grands Magasins du Louvre, is still affixed to the bottom, displaying a list of gloves of varying qualities with prices in French Francs.

The lid is lightly padded. The box displays a lovely antique patina with light brownish stains, minor wear at the corners, and a small tear on the lid, which can be seen in one of my photos. The interior is slightly dusty and stained.
