Antique French cafè au lait bowl earthenware transfer decor in blue, Japanese style with ducks, Opaque de Gien, French cafè au lait bowls.

Diameter is 5 5/8″ (14.3 cm) wide, 3 1/4″ (8.3 cm) tall.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and antique French cafè au lait bowl, earthenware with pink transfer decoration, Terre de Fer, featuring scenes with ducks and other water birds, in Japanese style. The base is milk white color, transfer decoration is in tones of blue.
The bowl is decorated also in its interior. This antique cafè au lait bowl is signed Porcelaine Opaque de Gien, dating to early 1900’s.

CONDITIONS:
This antique bowl is in good condition, to signal just a thin hairline departing from the edge, 1 3/8″ (3.5 cm) long and some very small chips to the edge, visible to close inspection.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
