DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and antique French cafè au lait bowl, earthenware with pink transfer decoration, Terre de Fer, featuring scenes with ducks and other water birds, in Japanese style. The base is light beige color, transfer decoration is in tones of pink.
The bowl is decorated also in its interior. This antique cafè au lait bowl is signed Porcelaine Opaque de Gien, dating to early 1900’s.

CONDITIONS:
This antique bowl has a great antique patina, there is an old rupture on the edge with 2 very thin and short hairlines, visible only to close inspection. Interior of the bowl is tea stained and shows many signs of use and age. This lovely antique bowl has all the charme of antique earthenware!
