DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French box for chocolates or candies, made from cardboard and covered with floral paper, dating early 1900’s.
Colors are really amazing and bright, silver background and a design showing daisies wreaths and bouquet of poppies, pansies, roses, bellflowers and ears of wheat. Interior is not lined.
This kind of boxes were offered full of sweets, sold by elegant confectionery shops.
CONDITIONS:
Very good antique conditions, structure of the box is sturdy and colors are still bright and lovely, there are light signs of wear to edges, spots of age to interior.

Diameter 5 3/8″ (13.7 cm) alta 1 3/16″ (3 cm).
