DESCRIPTION:
Antique French chromolithograph advertising print on stiff cardboard, dating to the early 1900’s. The chromolithograph reproduces the art work of the French painter G. Seignac, exposed in 1903 Salon, titled “Secret d’Amour”, The chromo shows a nymph sitting on a stone, in the woodland, with cupid standing on her side wispering love secrets in her ear.
This chromo was offered by Biscuits Olibet as advertising gift. The chromo is unframed.
CONDITION:
The chromolithograph has a beautiful antique patina, with brown stains and spots due to aging, there is some wear to edges and corners.
MEASURE:
14 3/4″ by 22 3/8″ (37.5 cm by 56.8 cm).
