DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique hand crafted wall pocket shaped as a slipper, made from cardboard, covered with oyster color damask silk and decorated with pink silk ribbon bows. The sole of the slipper is covered in silk with thin stripes in lilac and purple color. This kind of wall pockets were hand crafted and used to store small sewing tools, they were used in ladies’ boudoirs.

CONDITIONS:
Good antique conditions, there is some light wear to the striped silk textile used to cover the sole of the slipper, heel is slightly smashed, pink silk ribbon is in good shape with only minimum wear to edges.

6 3/4″ (17 cm) long and 2 1/4″ (6 cm) wide, 1 1/4 (3.2 cm) tall.
