DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique First Communion souvenir diorama in oval wooden frame, frame is tinted in black and has domed glass, dating to late 1901. There’s a biscuit angel in central area, fixed on a dark green velvet base, with an ivory color textile rose, ivory leaves and wax orange buds and blossoms, the antique paper label “Souvenir de la Premiere Communion” with the name of the Communiant girl and the date, June 8th 1901.
The diorama is backed with an antique fashion magazine page.
