Antique French dome glass with Madonna in glass beads frame, religious diorama under domed glass, antique French funerary decoration, dating late 1800’s.

DESCRIPTION:
Exquisite antique French diorama dating from the 1800’s. The diorama is under oval domed glass, it’s made from a biscuit Madonna surrounded by hand strung beaded flowers in tones of white and pearly white. Around the edge of diorama a frame made from twisted wire threaded with hundreds of tiny white and trasparent beads, some beaded flowers stand in central area under the diorama.
On the back there is a ring to hang the diorama. In my last photo you can see also another diorama with angel that is available listed separately.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique diorama with Madonna and glass bed work would make a lovely addition to a religious display, it would wonderful for your home decor in Jeanne D’Arc Living – Nordic style!

CONDITIONS:
Good conditions, to signal a small rupture to one of the exterior arches of the frame.

MEASUREMENTS:
10 1/2″ by 12″ (27 cm by 30 cm).
