DESCRIPTION:
Antique and very rare French or German enamel kettle, large size, dating to late 1800’s or very early 1900’s. This large kettle cobalt blue background and it’s decorated with hand painted roses, the hand painted decor is thick and a bit raised. Colors are just beautiful, there are tones of white, pink, dark pink and green with gilded fillets and details.
Riveted and flat handle, riveted spout, applied lid knob, all these construction details denote the antiquity of this kettle.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions of this antique enamel kettle are good, to signal some rusty dings around lid knob and lid’s edge, and another one to one side of the spout, traces of rust also on the central welding line, interior is stained and rusty, no holes to bottom.
MEASURES:
11 1/2″ (29 cm) tall including handle, 10 1/4″ (26 cm) tall without handle, 11 7/8″ (circa 30 cm) wide.
