DESCRIPTION:
Here’s a very lovely antique French enameled water pitcher or large jug, it has “Porcelain” shape, ivory background with shades in pale pink and in aqua green, transfer and hand painted decoration depicting roses and three butterflies. Colors are very tender, there are tones of pale pink, burgundy red, yellow, beige and green. Partially faded gilded fillets.
This enameled pitcher is not signed.
HOW TO USE IT:
Very lovely antique pitcher to add to your collection of antique French enamelware, its look a bit shabby and faded would be perfect in interior decoration in French or Nordic Jeanne d’Arc Living style….
CONDITIONS:
Good antique conditions, this enameled pitcher has one round ding (1″ diameter) with rust, well visible in my photos and 2 small dings located under the upper edge. Interior of the pitcher is clean and there are no holes.
MEASURES:
10″ (26 cm) tall, 9″ (22.8cm) max width including handle, 7″ (17.8 cm) circa max diameter.
