Antique French enameled Fountain Lavabo green – pink shades hand painted Freesia flowers, vintage wall fountain, antique french enamelware.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and rare antique French enameled wall fountain lavabo, green and pink shades, the fountain has raising design, the basin is shaped as a shell. Hand painted dainty “main leveè” (not raising) decoration depicting freesia flowers with beautiful colors, there are tones of white, mauve, violet, blush pink, beige, black and green, gilded details. Dating early 1900’s.

HOW TO USE IT:
Wonderful antique lavabo fountain to enrich the decoration of a porch, a terrasse, a veranda…. very nice also in a bathroom or kitchen! This kind of antique lavabo fountains look great with flowers inside and this lavabo/ fountain is SO romantic and highly collectable, it would surely be an amazing addition to your collection of antique precious French enamelware.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions are good, the water tank has two round chips on one side, other rusty chips here and there on the basin, mainly on edges, visible in my photos, but nothing too detracting. Decorations are intact and colors are very lovely! The water tap is present, there are traces of rust in its area.

MEASURES:
Measures: basin max width is 16 1/2″ (42.5 cm), 10 1/2″ (26.7 cm) deep, 6 1/2″ (16.5 cm) tall in the back; the water tank is 17 3/4″ ( 45 cm) tall including tap and lid knob, 12″ (30.5 cm) wide, 3 1/4″ (8.3 cm) deep.
