DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful and very rare antique enameled salt box, light blue color, hand painted roses on chocolate brown bands, decoration is raised, black lettering and fillets, gilded details.
Roses are in tones of pink, white and raspberry red, there are small white flowers too and leaves are in different tones of green, the lid too is decorated.
This antique enameled salt box is signed with hand painted letters C M.
This salt box is surely an early piece, dating to late 1800’s.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions of this salt box are not perfect, as you can see from photos there are large dings to the vertical side, one ding located on a leaf on decoration and another large ding with a rupture to the edge on one side, please see well all the photos.
In spite of these issues this salt box still remains a beautiful piece, colors are bright and wonderful and decoration is really a dream.

Base of this salt box measures 6 5/8″ by 4 3/8″ (16.8 cm by 11.2 cm), maximum height is 11 1/8″ (28.2 cm).
