DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and sweet antique French fabric boudoir box dating to early 1900’s. The box is made in cardboard covered with delicious antique fabric, base color is light beige with a design of tiny roses garlands in tones of pink, raspberry red and green. The textile has a great antique patina,
Interior of the box is lined with plain ivory paper and embellished by paper lace along edges, this kind of boxes were used by confectioneries for candies and small sweets sold as gifts.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collection and would be perfect to display with other antique fabric boxes in your French boudoir inspired room or in your sewing room! CONDITIONS:
This French boudoir box is in good conditions, the textile has aged beautifully, colors are very soft, there are some light stains due to age. The box structure is sturdy, there is no wear to corners. Interior of the box is clean, with some dried lavander flowers remnants, paper lace is a bit broken here and there.
