DESCRIPTION:
Set of two very nice antique French fabric boudoir boxes dating to years 1920’s – 1930’s. First box has a round base and the other one has oval base, They are made from cardboard covered with a very lovely antique fabric. The textile has a great antique patina with a design of large tulips. Colors are very bright and lovely, there are tones of pink, red, bordeaux red, yellow, pale blue, blue ivory and almond green.
Interior of the boxes is lined in paper with light orange base and a tiny geometric design in white design.
I sell the 2 boxes separately, you can choose at moment of order which one to buy.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collection and would be perfect to display with other antique fabric boxes in your French boudoir inspired room! It will give a special touch to your French home decor and can be used also as a trinket or jewelery box.

CONDITIONS:
Round base box is in good conditions, the textile is not stained and has aged beautifully, colors are still lovely, with beautiful age patina, light wear to the lid border. The box structure is sturdy.
Oval base box is too in good conditions but shows more wear to lid border.

Round base box: diameter 6 1/2″ (16.5 cm), 3 3/8″ (8.5 cm) tall.
Oval base box: 6 7/8″ by 4 7/8″ (17.5 cm by 12.5 cm), 4 7/8″ (12.5 cm) tall.
