Antique French fabric box, boudoir textile box, vintage French textile box with red toile de jouy, vintage storage box / sewing box.

MEASURES:
12 5/8″ (32 cm) by 9 1/2″ (24 cm) and 4 5/8″ (11.7 cm) tall.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely vintage French boudoir box dating ca to 1940’s-1950’s covered with a toile de jouy style fabric.
The textile has a cream color background and a red pattern in toile de jouy style, featuring medallions with mythological scenes in neoclassical style.
The interior of the box is lined in cotton toile with a design of country scenes in tons of green and the same fabric used for exterior side on the bottom.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collection and would be perfect to display with other antique fabric boxes in your French boudoir inspired room! It will give a special touch to your French home decor and can be used also as a trinket or jewelry box.

CONDITION:
This French boudoir box is in good condition, corners have light wear but nothing important. The box structure is sturdy. To signal a light orange stain just over the base.
Interior of this antique box is clean and in good order.
