Antique FRENCH FABRIC Box, vintage textile box for haberdashery, flowers & checks, Antique french fabric Boudoir box, antique sewing box.

MEASURES:
13 3/8″ by 8 1/2″, 3 1/8″ tall (34 cm by 21.5 cm, 8 cm tall).

DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique French textile box dating to the early 1900’s. This antique box has a rectangular shape and was intended to contain haberdashery. The boudoir box is made from heavy cardboard and covered with a lovely antique textile, fabric has a beige base and a design of lozenges and small flowers, beautiful antique patina and colors, there are tons of raspberry red, pink, blue, beige and shades of green. The lid is edged with metallic trimming in bronze color. Interior of the box is lined in green paper with a mottled pattern in tons of light beige. The lid of the box is slightly padded.

HOW TO USE IT:
This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collections of old French fabric boxes!

CONDITIONS:
The colors of exterior side of the box are still vibrant, there are some brownish stains on the lid. The box structure is still sturdy, there is wear to corners. Interior too is in good order.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
