Antique FRENCH FABRIC Box, vintage textile box for haberdashery, Indienne flowers, Antique french fabric Boudoir box, antique sewing box.

MEASURES:
12 1/2″ by 8 1/4″, 2″ tall (32 cm by 21 cm, 5.2 cm tall).

DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique French textile box dating to the early 1900’s. This antique box has a rectangular shape with interior compartiments and was intended to contain haberdashery. The boudoir box is made from heavy cardboard and covered with a wonderful antique textile, fabric has a beige base and a design of Indienne style flowers, beautiful antique patina and colors, there are tones of raspberry red, bordeaux red, pink, saffron yellow, beige and sage green. Interior of the box is lined in beige paper with a mottled pattern. The lid of the box is slightly padded.
The original label with price in French Francs is still glued on the bottom of the box.

This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collections of old French fabric boxes!

CONDITIONS:
This antique boudoir box is in good conditions, colors of exterior are still vibrant, there are no stains. The box structure is still sturdy, there is just light wear to corners. Interior too is in good order, to signal a small rupture to the lining paper and a restoration with scotch tape, very easy to restore.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
