DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique French boudoir box dating to years 1920’s. The boudoir box is made from wood and covered with a wonderful antique textile, fabric has light beige base and a design of rope losanges with knots, framing tulips, dahlias, anemones and roses. Beautiful colors, there are tones of pink, raspberry, purple, blue, yellow, brick orange, dark grey and green. Interior of the box is lined with the same fabric used for exterior side, that shows the brighter original colors. Lid is edged with bronze color metallic trim.

This antique French fabric box would look wonderfully in your collections of old French fabric boxes in romantic boudoir style!

CONDITIONS:
This antique boudoir box is in good conditions for its age, colors of exterior sides are a bit faded and darkened, there is some wear to all the bottom 4 corners, metallic trimming is slightly detached in some small areas. There are some woodworms holes to the sides. The box structure is still sturdy. Interior is clean and in good order, the fabric has still the original bright colors.

16 1/4″ by 9 1/2″, 3 3/4″ tall (41.2 cm by 24.2 cm, 9.5 cm tall).
