Beautiful and rare antique enameled body pitcher from France, dating to early 1900’s, light green shaded background and hand painted decoration with a framed scene featuring a snowy landscape with a farmhouse, in tones of white, beige, brown, dark green, light blue and grey, gilded volutes frame the landscape scene. Decoration is not raised, it has been executed using light touch technique and it really shows all the beauty of a watercolor! Riveted handle and gilded fillets.

CONDITION:
Condition of this enameled body pitcher is good, decoration is perfect with very lovely colors, the only issues to signal are some dings on the handle, around edge and base, on the the neck. Bottom is intact.

This body pitcher is 13 3/4″ (35 cm) tall and has a base diameter of 8″ (20.2 cm).
