Description

Very lovely antique French small trinket – jewels box for boudoir, the box is made in brass and a has a thick ground glass lid, under the glass there is a chromolithograph showing a view of Trocadero Palace, built in Paris for the Universal Exposition in 1878, this box is a souvenir of the Universal Exposition. The sides of the box are in brass, with a raised design of puttis playing in a classical bucolic landscape. The interior is lined in blue padded silk. The box has ball feet.
