DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely hand embroidered antique French shelf border, made from white cotton – linen blend fabric, embroidered and scalloped by hand with a very uncommon design of green wheelbarrows full of yellow daisies, in bright green, edged with a lovely hand made lace in light beige and bright green. This kind of embroidered shelf borders were used in every antique kitchen to decorate shelves, mantelpieces and cupboards.

HOW TO USE IT:
This shelf border is really cute, it would be perfect to give that special French touch to your kitchen inspired by French farmhouse atmospheres, it also could be used for your project of course, for example to border curtains or valances…

CONDITION:
The border is in very good condition for its age, there are no holes, fabric is strong and not time worn, it seems as this border has been used very little.
