Very lovely hand embroidered antique French shelf border, made from white color linen, embroidered and scalloped by hand with a design of poppies, cornflowers and ears of wheat, green edging. This kind of embroidered shelf borders were used in every antique kitchen to decorate shelves, mantelpieces and cupboards.

HOW TO USE IT:
This shelf border is really cute, it would be perfect to give that special French touch to your kitchen inspired to French farm house atmospheres, it also clould be used for your project of course, for example to border curtains or valances…

CONDITIONS:
The border is in enough good conditions for its age, to signal one hole under a poppy embroidery and some dark stripes due to age and storage, I think they would wash away well.
