Antique French hand fan carved wood sticks, folding fan black silk & net lace hand painted flowers, bird and butterfly, black antique fan.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French hand fan, sticks are made of black tinted wood or ebonite, carved with motifs of flowers. The fan is made from black organza silk and net lace, with hand painted flowers, a bird and a butterfly, in tones of pink, white, mauve, beige, light brown and light green. Colors are very soft and the hand painted flowers are just beautiful, made by a very skilled hand.

HOW TO USE IT:
Very lovely antique fan for your collection, wonderful to display in your French boudoir inspired home decor!

CONDITION:
Conditions are good but not completely perfect, silk has no tears and no splits, there are antique restorations to 6 sticks, visible just in the back side, organza silk is not completely fixed to the sticks, this would be very easy to do for someone skilled. The silk tassel is time worn.

Sticks length is 13 3/4″ (35 cm).
