Antique French head-scarf / square, collectible vintage square with block printed motif in red, Napoleon 3rd era.

34″ by 35 1/2″ (86.3 cm by 90.2 cm).
DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French head-scarf or square, in French called ” Fichu”, dating to the late 1800’s.
The square is made in cotton, it is hand block-printed with a motif in bordeaux red, red and light beige, with striped border.
CONDITION:
The head-scarf has several small tears and holes, there also some beautiful and very mendings, it is highly collectible and interesting for study.
