Antique French ironstone lidded pitcher, rare blue transfer design of ivy leaves, Creil MONTEREAU ironstone jug antique Terre de fer jug.

DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful and rare ironstone – Terre de Fer water pitcher with lid, transfer decoration in monochrome of cobalt blue featuring ivy leaves, spread all over the pieces in “chintz” style. The pitcher is signed by French manufacture Creil Montereau, L. M. et C.ie (Leboeuf et Millet et C.ie), design “Flora”, this mark has been used from 1840 to 1876.
