DESCRIPTION:
Antique French large boudoir box, octogonal base, covered in silk fabric with a gorgeous design of roses and flowers baskets framed with blue ribbons with bows, the design seems to be printed and then it had been entirely hand-embroidered, with raising details, I am sure that in its glorious past this box had been a true masterpiece! Most of the embroideries are now worn, the embroidery work appears just in areas, the printed design on the fabric helps to imagine how it could appear in the past. In spite of the imperfections this boudoir box still displays beautifully, it is full of faded grandeur and decadent charme, it kept my eye from the first moment I have seen it!
Colors are true beauty, there faded tones of pale blue, dusty pink, vinaccia, beige and green. The interior is lined in blue moiré silk, the box is edged with bronze color metallic trim.

HOW TO USE IT:
Wonderful antique boudoir box to store, large enough to store your treasures and small collections, gorgeous piece to display in any French boudoir inspired home decor!

CONDITIONS:
The box structure is sturdy, interior is clean, exterior side is time worn as I have described and visible in photos, with halos and light stains due to aging.
