Antique French pair of face screens, hand-held screens, fire face screens, Regency era face screens in hand painted cardboard & wooden handle.

DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful pair of antique French hand-held face screens, fire face screens, made from cardboard, with embossed designs of stylized urns of flowers, the design is embossed, hand painted and finely punched. The base color is a ton of dusty blue, the design is in tons of terracotta, pale orange, beige, blue and green. The back side of the two screens is decorated with round medallions with printed scenes showing a country landscape with a couple and a garden with people walking, the two medallions are framed with embossed gilt decorations.
The handles are made in wood and are slightly different.
The price is for the pair of face screens.

CONDITION:
The face screens have a beautiful antique patina, both of them have weakness and folding signs to the handle insertion areas.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
