DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely and highly collectable antique French perfume bottle Fanfreluche, Lorenzy Palanca, Paris, dating circa to years 1910’s -1920’s. This antique perfume bottle still has its original label with embossed details depicting a lovely woman with veil and gilded roses garlands.
The original glass stopper is still in place too.
The bottle is empty with a bit of dry residue.
HISTORY:
The company Lorenzy Palanca was established during the 19th century by Jules Lorenzy at 61 boulevard des dames, Marseilles, France.
Although the business primarily sold soaps, around the turn of the century, they also sold perfumes, razors, toiletries and cosmetics with beautiful paper graphics and stunning label designs. The business was successful enough to open major branches in Algiers, Oran, Nice and Toulon, but went bankrupt in 1930. Nymphea perfume and powder have been launched in 1920.
The name Lorenzy-Palanca was subsequently used by a new company, Societe Anonyme Andre Lorenzy.
HOW TO USE IT:
Very lovely antique perfume bottle with wonderful original label, perfect to add to a collection of antique vanities and to display in your boudoir decor!
CONDITIONS:
Very good antique conditions, no chips to the glass bottle nor to the stopper. Label is in very good shape.
MEASURES:
Base is 2″ by 2″ (5.1 cm by 5.1 cm), 3 7/8″ (10 cm) tall including stopper.
