Antique French sewing box covered in red silk velvet with embossed metal applications, boudoir sewing tools box with red silk interior

4 3/4″ by 3 3/4″ (12 cm by 9.5 cm), 2 1/2″ (6.3 cm) tall.
DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French sewing box for the boudoir, dating to the late 1800’s, covered in red silk velvet, handle is in silver color metal, it is fixed to the box with perforated metal decorations, hinged closure in worked and perforated metal, the interior is lined in bordeaux red silk, the box is sold empty.
CONDITION:
There is a rupture to the hinge closure, to signal light wear to the exterior velvet covering, there are no stains and no offensive odours, the interior side too is clean and in good order.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
