Antique French silk embroidered panel, ribbonwork embroidery panel in moiree taffeta silk, ombrè silk rosettes & ribbon bow, oval medallion.

MEASURES:
12 1/2″ by 14 5/8″ (31.7 cm by 37.2 cm).

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French emroidered panel made from moire taffeta silk in light beige color, ribbonwork embroidery and bronze color metal thread embroidery, featuring ombrè silk ribbon garlands of roses and violets. In the central area is fixed an oval medallion in paper with a chromo in sepia tons featuring a little boy and little girl in a boat, the medallione is framed with a ribbonwork garland of leaves and an embroidered bow in silk thread. The embroidery is enriched with gold sequins and gold tiny beads.

CONDITION:
Very good condition, the embroidery is intact, to signal just a folding mark at the bottom of the medallion.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
