Delightful vintage summer sun hat for women, called “Nicoise” French origin. This hat features lightweight woven straw decorated with wool embroidered flowers in tones of blue, pink, orange, yellow and green, there are also lovely yellow mimosas, so evocative of French riviera atmospheres, this Nicoise hat was a souvenir of Nice. Round shape with a wide brim and a low peaked crown that’s meant to sit atop the head, dating to the 1940’s.
Very lovely Nicoise straw hat to wear, to collect or to use for your interior decoration in vintage farmhouse or cottage style!
