Amazing and rare heart shaped box, covered with beautiful marbled paper, dating to the early 1800’s.
This antique box is of Italian origin, hand crafted by nuns in convents.
This kind of boxes were hand crafted with great care by the skilled nuns in Catholic Convents in Europe, especially in Italy, Spain and France. These antique boxes were used to contain religious items.

CONDITION:
Good condition for this so early box, the structure of the box is sturdy and in very good shape, there are signs of age and light wear the paper, mainly on the lid and to edges.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
