DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique micro mosaic brooch of Italian origin, with central cameo showing a woman bust in Roman style, surely it comes from Rome, as the art of micro mosaic was a great tradition in this city. This kind of brooches were produced as souvenirs for tourists since the Grand Tour’s era, very often the micro mosaic objects show famous Roman monuments views or reproductions of particulars of famous ancient Roman mosaics…
