Antique parasol umbrella, floral design with birds in bright colors, vermicular embroidery in silver thread, carved wood handle.

25 1/8″ (63.7 cm) long, 27 1/4″ (69.2 cm) wide when open.
DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique Italian or French parasol made in cotton fabric, dating to the 1920’s, with a large scale design with flowers and birds, beautiful bright colors on a beige base, there are tons of pink, raspberry red, bordeaux red, yellow, blue, orange and several shades of green, the parasol is embroidered with a vermicular pattern made in metallic silver thread.
The parasol has a flat shape in Japanese style, the handle is turned wood with an incised and painted pattern of floral garlands.
CONDITION:
The parasol is in good condition, it opens and closes well, to signal that one of the bakelite tip is unsewn.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
