Antique petit point purse – evening bag, black color & roses, embossed metal frame with puttis, vintage Edwardian era petit point purse, early 1900’s.

DESCRIPTION:
Amazing antique micro petit-point evening purse – bag, black color background with a design of roses and flowers. Embroidery is in tones of pink, raspberry, mauve, light blue, blue, light yellow, safran, brown and green. Interior of the purse is lined in black gros grain silk.
The purse has a very lovely frame made from silver metal with an embossed and fretworked decoration featuring puttis. The purse has a chain handle.

CONDITIONS:
Good antique conditions, there are no stains, no offensive odours, no missing stitches. Interior lining shows light wear and the closure button is present but no more in place, it is no more fixed but I will send it with the bag, I think it would be possible perhaps to fix it again, in spite of this incovenience closure is functional and works well.

8 1/4″ by 8″ (21 cm by 20.3 cm), handle is 7 1/8″ (18 cm) long.
