Description

Antique rare late 18th – early 19th century English creamware pierced two handled basket and stand perhaps Leeds.

DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful and rare antique late 18th – early 19th century English creamware pierced two handled basket and stand perhaps Leeds, contoured and openwork oval shape, applied with motifs in the form of palmettes and garlands of flowers.

HOW TO USE IT:
Very lovely antique creamware basket and stand to add to a collection or to use as decoration, especially if you love antique creamware!

CONDITIONS:
Both the basket and the stand are in good condition with light signs of use and great antique patina, the basket has a small manufacturing default to the openwork, slightly visible in interior side, visible in photo, it is not a hairline due to shock but just a manufacturing default. The stand has no hairlines and no ruptures, there is a small blue stain near the edge, visible in one of my photos, due to manufacturing default.

MEASURES:
Basket: 9 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ (24 cm by 16.5 cm), 3 1/8″ (8 cm) tall in the middle and 3 1/2″ (8.8 cm) tall at handles.
Stand: 10 3/8″ by 8 5/8″ (26.5 cm by 22 cm).
