DESCRIPTION:
Antique and uncommon Spanish ironstone, terre de fer gravy boat with lid, white base and transfer decor in tones os black and grey, depicting flowers and volutes, traces of gildings on lid’s knob and handles. This antique gravy boat or sauce boat has the mark Ramon Rodriguez Y C.a, China Opaca, St. Juan de Azfalnarache, Sevilla, it dates to the second half of 1800’s.

CONDITIONS:
Good conditions, there are no ruptures and no hairlines, the gravy boat has a craquelure effect mainly in the interior side and it is tea stained, as you can see from photos.

7 3/4″ by 4 3/8″ (19.7 cm by 11.2 cm), 5 5/8″ (14.3 cm) tall including the lid.
