DESCRIPTION:
Antique vintage swan’s down feathers powder puff with figural porcelain top featuring a duck, dating to years 1920’s-1930’s. Swan’s down feathers are in white color and the porcelain duck figurine is very lovely, it is in pale mauve color with tiny blue dots, blue wigs, green tail and yellow beak, stylized in typical Art Decò style, may be it was a puff for baby talcum powder? Probably this figural porcelain top has been made in Germany as many porcelain half figurines typical of the flappers era.

CONDITIONS:
This antique swan’s down feathers powder puff is in good conditions for its age, it has some dust shelf settled into the down feathers, there are no cracks, hairs or other ruptures to the porcelain figurine.

MEASURES:
Diameter of the puff is circa 3 1/4″ (8 cm) and the figurine top stands circa 2 3/4″ (7 cm) high, the figurine in itself is 1″ (2.5 cm) tall.
