Very lovely and rare antique tin allumettes (matches) container, kitchen matches holder to hang to the wall, dating ca from the early 1900’s. The match holder is made from lithographed tin and decorated in Art Nouveau style, in tones of blue, beige and green, on a rusty color base.
This kind of match holder was used in every kitchen of the past, they were essential when wood stoves and fireplaces were used to cook.

HOW TO USE IT:
This vintage match holder will bring a touch of French atmosphere in your kitchen decor, it would be great to mix with other antique French kitchenalia!

CONDITION:
Condition of this allumettes holder is good for its age, as you can see from photos it has a great antique patina, there are traces of rust and some scratches, there are no holes.
