DESCRIPTION:
Gorgeous handmade and elaborately decorated nightdress case dating 1920’s.
This antique night dress case is made from lilac silk and the center front is embellished with ruched appliqued flowers made from shaded flesh pink, lilac and green silk ribbons, ribbonwork art.
The center area of the night dress case with ribbonwork applique is framed by netted cream lace and gold metallic lace, outer edge is trimmed with cream netted lace frill.
The night dress case has a padded front and ribbon ties.

Gorgeous vintage boudoir night dress case, a very lovely addition to your collection of antique ribbonwork and boudoir items.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions of the antique night dress case for boudoir are really good in the front area, with only some wear on one petal of the pink rose, visible in closeup photos.
The lilac silk back of the night dress case is shattering at the top, as you can see in my photos.

MEASURES:
14 3/4″ (37.5 cm) plus cream silk frill 1 3/4″ (2.5 cm), 11″ (28 cm) long.
